Introducing ‘The Nook’ aka my sister’s blogging area

Hey everyone!!

Today is just a little post but I wanted to give a proper introduction to ‘The Nook’ which is going to be a feature on my blog where my sister, Beth, can post her posts.

If you remember all the way back in September last year (okay it’s not actually that long ago but last year makes it seem like ages) she made her debut with Do You Have A Genre Soul Mate? | A Guest Post by My Sister which was very well received (thank you for all the love and kind words) and she enjoyed it so I thought she can have her own little space on my blog to write.

WHAT IS ‘THE NOOK’ GOING TO BE?

It is simply her space but she is going to stay on the topic of books most of the time, maybe some film ones. It will all be her writing and she will set it out herself. She has an account now so she is officially an author of this blog. But she is just starting out and it might look different to how I normally set things out.

She will also be replying to comments but obviously, she will do it when she is ready so if she is late replying, just know all the support will really mean a lot.

I’ve done the design which as you can see is sunflowers and yellow!! (It should be temporary as I would love to redesign my whole blog at one point in the near future) But remember when you see this blog header, you know it is Beth.

 HOW OFTEN WILL SHE BE POSTING?

Probably once every two months but this isn’t a promise as it could vary (hopefully more). 

WHAT WAS THE INSPIRATION FOR THE NAME?

Okay, story time…..

Me: What should you name your blog section?

Beth: Umm.. I don’t know

*5 hours later*

Beth: What about ‘The Bobbit’?

Me: That is the best name EVER

Both of us: *laugh then look dead into each other’s eyes* No, that’s terrible

Beth: I’ll just stick with ‘The Nook’

Me: Good call
