THE MEGA AWESOME SISTER COLLAB YOU HAVEN’T BEEN WAITING FOR…. WHO’S WHO!!

Hello everyone!!

Today I am very, very excited for this post because it is just a bit of fun and as the title strongly suggests it involves me, Sophie (your regular, average girl) and my sister, Beth (your irregular, also average girl). YES, THIS IS OUR FIRST COLLAB. *cheers*

I had an idea *imagine a lightbulb moment* where there would be one fictional character stated and then we would write who, out of the two of us, is most like said fictional character and explain why. I’ve decided to call it (it might have another name, but I haven’t researched it so let’s ignore that) …

WHO’S WHO: THE FICTIONAL CHARACTER GAME

So, I have a list of six characters, and we wrote our answers without knowing what the other wrote. You are going to have to trust that we are telling the truth here (trusting us only has deadly consequences 3% of the time so you are okay). Now the characters are from books but because we both had to know them, they are all from films as well (sorry, we are uncultured). But I hope this is a fun way to get to know us better and enjoy….

GOLLUM

From the Lord Of The Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien

Sophie: This is slightly painful to admit but I think it is quite easily me. I can be quite possessive about some objects (but you have to understand, they’re my precious). Beth will agree but she will say it in a really nice way. Also, I have quite a similar eye shape to Gollum (and I always say I don’t look like any celebrities). And I aspire to the drama queen level of Gollum. 

Beth: This is definitely more Sophie than me, nothing to do with physical appearance I’ll have you all know but instead because her books are her precious and you can often find her tucked up in her cave bedroom with all her precious books. There’s no doubting the devotion in this woman* (also she will attack you if you crease the spines, watch out hobbits)

*I called it!! 

SEVERUS SNAPE

Sophie: *HP series spoiler ahead* Me because I too would be a terrible teacher (in a different way) and have the same hairstyle for years. But, seriously, I think I would hide my feelings for years and only release them on my death bed. BUT I would never have joined the death eaters and only think Beth is less like him really. 

Beth: Sweet Severus Snape, instinctively I feel he’s more me because the way he loves Lily Potter is the same way I love food, always. Also, I once dyed my hair black so high five on that one Snape mate.

*Absolutely no one*    Me and Beth: Snape is relatable because of his hair.

KATNISS EVERDEEN

From The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Sophie: Beth because she would definitely volunteer for me if I was picked for the reaping. And she has the same sisterly attitudes where she is caring and tries to make every situation easier and better for everyone me. Also, if Beth did become a revolutionary figure (the mockingjay, hello), she would be reluctant at first but naturally be very good at it when she isn’t even trying. 

Beth: This is Sophie all over, she’s brave, strong in her own mind, clear sense of justice, good at Wii Sports Archery and I can also imagine her falling in love with a baker who can make her lovely bread and treats whilst she reads all day long*.

*Yep, this is my new dream. It literally sounds perfect. 

LUNA LOVEGOOD

Sophie: Me because we’re both Ravenclaws because I think I can easily and happily be in my own world like Luna. Also I like to think I have the same honest and carefree energy that she has (Beth won’t agree that I’m carefree but I know I can be chill about things, it just depends on the situation which I know doesn’t sound carefree but I am. Okay, so no one believes me). 

Beth: Sophie is the Ravenclaw of the 2 of us but I would say I’m more ‘airy fairy’ like Luna. So, with Luna I’m going to cheat and say this is a split between both of us, Sophie has a great imagination and rocks being independent (and she’s a Ravenclaw as well, obvs). But then I’m more floaty, I like funky clothes and I’ve found shoes in strange places.

LEGOLAS

From the Lord Of The Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien

Sophie: Beth. Not for the majestic fighting because we can both be pretty clumsy at times. But because Beth would be a loyal, quiet and fair solider. She has better aim with an actual bow and arrow (as we learnt in archery). Plus, she has much better hearing and sight than me so Elvish qualities all around. 

Beth: Angelic looks? Reserved manner? Smart? Skilled? Could take down a massive elephant if she put her kind to it? Legolas is 100% Sophie.*

*Okay I agree with Beth. I’m clearly as awesome as Legolas *smug elvish smile*

ALICE CULLEN

From Twilight by Stephanie Meyer

Sophie: Beth because she got Alice’s haircut when the movies were out because you are more likely to try to get everyone involved and make sure they are happy. Beth and Alice have the exact same ‘birthday’ day energy, whilst I would still be in bed. Beth also has that same motherly matureness and crazy fun balance that Alice has. 

Beth: Alice is me. I had a massive fancy for this lady and I even had my hair cut in that spiky pixie cut when I was in school and would practise trying to through a baseball like her in my bedroom too (am I over sharing here?). I can also see glimpses of the future, obviously.

I thought that was so fun, I hope you enjoyed it. Let me know if you did and maybe we will do this again with other characters. And if you didn’t enjoy it, we will probably still do it again. You’re welcome.
